Jean is a gray fox vixen in her early twenties. A History major at University, she absorbs historical facts like a sponge. Jean is very fragile emotionally, due to a long term problem she is just coming to terms with. She is estranged from her parents, Francois and Marie LeBrun, because of their reaction to her situation. Jean shares an apartment with her best friend Gabrielle Ryder, a bronco filly who is very protective and supportive of her.
Gabrielle is a beautiful bronco filly in her mid twenties. A purebred whose father wanted her to continue his line, she left home to escape his domination. Strong-willed, bluntly honest, and with attitude to spare, she is trading her work-a-day job in for the fast-paced world of ZZ Studios. She shares an apartment with Jean LeBrun, a grey vixen who is her best friend. Jean is emotionally very fragile at times, and Gabrielle is both confidante and protector to her.
Police Precinct Commissioner from the city of Cincinnati. This Orangutan is nearing retirement age, but still has plenty of skill and drive. One large wrinkle from head to toe, the simian is surprisingly quick and strong. His rumpled appearance and laid back attitude puts folks at ease and off their guard, unaware that he is taking in and analyzing every word they say. Compassionate and understanding to the victims of crime, he always seems one step ahead of the criminals he must bring to justice.
Yes, that is a Latin term for a type of squirrel, which Sergeant Miranda of the Columbus PD is. (Sgt. Miranda is what everyone calls her, for obvious reasons) Resourceful and intelligent, this lady can be brave beyond measure when it is called for. She will go out of her way, a long way out of her way, to seek justice when the clues point to something rotten afoot. She and her husband Peter, also a policefur, work well together both on and off the job. They are trying to start a family, if their hectic schedule ever permits them the time to.
A French todd who still speaks with his native accent, Francois is a baker by trade. He runs his own shop, “La Boulangerie,” in the same neighborhood where his daughter Jean lives. Stubborn and unaccepting to Jean’s situation at first, he is trying desperately to mend their relationship, much to the disgust of his wife Marie. With his old-world manners and ways, he can be quite charming when he wishes.
A maned wolf of mexican origins, working at ZZ Studios. Speaks English with a heavy accent. He has a very large heart and while he’s often on the receiving end of some goodnatured jokes from friends and colleagues, he can easily take it. He’s also considerably more contemplative than one might readily believe.Author’s note: Esteban is built on a character created by James Bruner and is Â?that author. I have used him with the authors permission, and I have taken the liberty of giving Esteban a personality in this story. It is not to be considered canon for any use James Bruner makes of this character.
Zig Zag is the owner of ZZ Studios, a famous (some would probably say infamous) porn studio located in Columbus, Ohio. She’s a skunk, though of mixed heritage which has resulted in her being tigerstriped. This in turn is the reason for her nickname. What her real name is, only a select few furs know. She’s had a very difficult life, but has managed to come out on top by sheer perceverance and hard work. She’s a good employer and she cares for those who work for her, taking an active interest in their lives.Author’s note: Zig Zag is the creation of Max Black Rabbit and is Â? that artist. Zig Zag in this story has a personality not unlike that which is seen in Sabrina-Online, the web-comic by Eric Schwartz.
Marvin Badger is a former college football star, and the majordomo of ZZ Studios. In other words, he deals with all the things that Zig Zag doesn’t have time to handle, as well as being her ’second-in-command’. He’s a very large, broadshouldered and lean fur, happily married to Rhonda Badger and thus not active in front of the cameras. He’s kindhearted and openminded and is generally well liked by everyone who meets him. It’s just a very bad idea to get on his bad side.Author’s note: Marvin Badger is the creation of James Bruner and is Â? that author. He is used with permission.
Yohni is a mongoose. She’s one of the actresses at ZZ Studios and in some ways personifies what people might expect from a porn actress. She’s an extrovert, almost in the extreme, she’s beautiful and she’s got a downright terrible dating history. She’s also a menace with a credit card in paw, having a heart made for shopping.Author’s note: Yohni is built on a character created by James Bruner and is Â? that author. I have used her with the authors permission, and I have taken the liberty of giving Yohni a personality in this story. It is not to be considered canon for any use James Bruner makes of this character.
