Aslaug's Axe Shed

I just came home from the dermatologist. I don’t have skin-cancer, but he did say it was right of me to come since it looked very much like I had, on the surface. However, there was no malignancy in my birthmarks and they had simply been infected. He did note that I had a bad rash that needed treatment as well and I got some instructions on how to do that, plus he told me my skin is so dry that unless I get something done about it, I’ll start showing cracks soon … which will hurt and bleed. But frankly I’m just relieved … beyond words … that it wasn’t skin cancer.

I don’t have much else to tell at this time, since to be honest, I just want a drink and to lie down and relax. I’ve been so high strung for days I’ve probably been unbearable company …
